Dr. Im-Wang is available as a lecturer and/or consultant to:

  • Clinicians (such as clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, MFT's) for case consultation on learning issues as related to their patients/clients
  • Hospitals, clinics, and community health centers to provide Continuing Education (CE)/Continuing Medical Education (CME) on topics such as adolescents/child learning, development, school issues, working with school staff, etc.
  • Educational institutions or programs such as school districts, county of education, local schools on topics such as Successful IEP Meetings (factors involved and how to have most productive meetings), emotional literacy/regulation, etc.
  • Parent organizations (such as PTA, non-profit parent resource organizations, government sourced parenting resource facilities, etc.) on topics such as adolescents/child learning, development, school issues, parenting, self-care, etc.​

Speaker and workshop facilitator

Dr. Im-Wang is available for talks on subjects related to her training, expertise, and research interests. Please contact her directly to discuss her availability and/or if you have a specific topic in mind.  Please note that traveling to a different time zone require minimum of four months advance booking. 

Program Evaluation and Consultation

Dr. Im-Wang evaluates existing or projected educational programs and services that are geared toward children.  Her evaluation and consultation includes:
  • Needs assessment determined by targeted group to see if the educational program/facility is actually offering what their target group needs.
  • Developmental appropriateness
  • Applicability of the educational plan for targeted group, meaning can the plan or program in place realistically work?
  • Comprehensive and functional summary (with recommendation) of the evaluation
